Project Overview
This 2020 Audi R8 received full body paint protection film from Tier 1 Tint Wraps PPF in Las Vegas. As a mid-engine V10 supercar with low, wide bodywork, the R8 is especially exposed to rock chips, road debris, and scratches, and full coverage PPF keeps its paint protected from every angle while preserving the factory finish.
The exterior was thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and prepped before the film was installed across every painted panel. Special attention was given to the R8’s wide front bumper and large air intakes, hood, front fenders, signature side blades, rear quarter panels, and rear bumper, with edges carefully wrapped for a clean, nearly invisible finish that follows the car’s sharp, aggressive lines.
The self-healing film helps light swirls and scratches disappear with heat, resists staining and yellowing, and adds a glossy, protective layer that stands up to UV exposure and the intense Las Vegas sun.
