Project Overview
This 2026 BMW 440i received XPEL XR Black ceramic window tint and an XPEL ceramic coating from Tier 1 Tint Wraps PPF in Las Vegas. This combination keeps the cabin cooler and more private while protecting the paint from UV exposure, water spots, road grime, and the harsh desert sun.
All windows were tinted with XPEL XR Black, a premium ceramic film that pairs a deep, rich black appearance with strong heat rejection and UV protection. Each piece of film was precisely cut and installed for a clean, factory-style fit around the 440i’s frameless door glass and sloping rear window, giving the car a sleek look while improving comfort on hot Las Vegas days.
Before the coating was applied, the exterior was thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and prepped to ensure a strong bond. The XPEL ceramic coating was then applied by hand across the paint, with special attention given to the front bumper, hood, side panels, rear trunk lid, and wheels. The result is a deep, high-gloss finish with excellent hydrophobic performance that makes regular maintenance easier.

What We Did
Vehicle Panel Protection
We cover the door panels with protective plastic and place a cover over the dashboard to help protect the interior during installation.
Glass Preparation
We thoroughly clean the windows to remove dust and residue before installation.
Film Cutting & Shaping
We precision-cut the film for the vehicle's windows and heat-shape it where needed to match curved glass.
Window Tint Installation
We install the film on the inside of the glass, carefully positioning and smoothing it for an even finish.
Edge Detailing
We refine the film's alignment and edges so it sits cleanly against the window.
Quality Inspection & Care Instructions
We inspect each tinted window, remove the interior protection, and review the recommended drying time and aftercare with the customer.
